LAVENDER, has many properties among which: calming for the mind,
Anti-inflammatory and sedative properties make it very suitable for relieving pains such as those of childbirth (apply diluted to the lumbar region and add local heat with a hot water bottle). It is also highly recommended for children's skin for dermatitis and eczema. I highly recommend it for the first three months of a baby's life when there are discomforts such as colic, colds, conjunctivitis if breast milk isn't enough, atopic skin, etc., thanks to its very versatile properties.
STRESS AWAY, Copaiba-Lime-Cedarwood-Ocotea-Lavender-Vanilla: Ideal for restoring mental and emotional balance, as this oil naturally reduces stress. It is especially recommended for the days before childbirth.
COURAGE, Spruce-Rosewood-Blue Tansy-Frankincense: It's called "the chiropractor in a bottle" because this blend has been created to strengthen the body both spiritually and physically. Applied to the chest, it can help overcome fear and help gain courage and self-confidence during times of adversity, such as those that can occur at times during childbirth. It can also be applied to the sacrum and spine to help with discomfort and pelvic adaptation during labor.
EN-R-GEE™, Rosemary qt.cineol-Juniper-Lemorass-Nutmeg-Balsam Fir-Clove-Black Pepper: is a stimulating oil blend that revitalizes and helps improve energy without overstimulating or generating adrenaline, which wouldn't be very useful at this time. These essential oils have been traditionally used to help restore mental alertness, uplift mood, and boost energy—just what is needed during the final stages of labor!
Clary Sage: Linked to feminine nature. Due to its antispasmodic properties, it is used to relieve labor pains, but it is also used to increase contractions during delivery. Avoid it during pregnancy!
Due to its estrogen-mimetic hormonal properties, it is the most suitable essential oil for restoring hormonal imbalances in women. It has been used to combat premenstrual symptoms, menstrual cramps, hormonal disorders, and, ultimately, during menopause.
These are the essential oils I always carry with me when I'm working as a midwife! I love my job, especially when I can help people live this unique experience naturally. <3
