From my first breath to the art of giving birth at home
My first contact with a midwife was the day I decided to give birth, thanks to my mother, who gave me the opportunity to come into the world at home, as was done in the old days. At that time, in Italy, home birth was something very rare, as everything was very institutionalized.
However, my mother, along with a few pioneering women, dared to give birth at home, accompanied by a traditional midwife, those famous midwives who traveled long distances, often on horseback, to attend births in the most remote areas far from the city.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is a natural therapy that uses the properties of essential oils extracted from aromatic plants. It is a branch of phytotherapy that acts by balancing body and mind, thus promoting our health and well-being.
Infant massage
When my first daughter, Eloïse, was born, I had the opportunity to attend an AEMI infant massage course. I loved the experience so much that I decided to train as an educator so I could share this magical moment with other families.
