Chickenpox, my daughters and essential oils!

IMG_20170323_090103

Ha ha ha!!!!!!

I can only start laughing!! Two weeks ago, I wrote a post about chickenpox for two mom friends of mine... whose children had chickenpox. The funny thing is that my daughters had been at my friend's house just the day before the typical chickenpox sores appeared on her daughter; 11 days of incubation, and chickenpox arrived at my house!!

I'm grateful that my two daughters are now immune to chickenpox! Chickenpox, along with other diseases, is a typical "nightmare" for women! It's best to get it before you reach childbearing age.

Today is day 4. The photo is from this morning. It seems there are no more new points…

<3 This morning they were pampering each other by putting the roll-on with the mixture of oils on their backs and the rest of their bodies. <3

I have to admit that the mixture really seems to relieve their itching when you apply it. There are times at night when they wake up with severe itching and discomfort, and the roll-on relieves…

Now I'm posting again what I had written in the other entry 😉

Hello, today I want to talk about Chickenpox, also known as Herpes Zoster.

What I love about being able to use aromatherapy with our children or loved ones is the CONTACT! One way to apply essential oils is through skin-to-skin contact, with my hands massaging my daughters' skin. In this moment, I am providing affection, love, trust, respect, and, most of all, creating and strengthening a bond with them that they will carry with them throughout their lives.

Chickenpox is caused by a virus that is related to the herpes simplex virus, which typically burrows into the nerves beneath the skin and can cause lifelong, repeated infections.

When Herpes Zoster infections occur in children it is known as CHICKEN POX.

When the infection occurs or recurs in adults, it is known as herpes, and is activated when the immune system is aggravated by emotional stress.

Although chickenpox is a benign disease, complications sometimes occur in adolescents and adults with weakened immune systems (immunocompromised). The virus only infects transmits from person to person, either by direct contact with skin lesions or by coughing or sneezing. incubation period The time until the illness appears is two to three weeks. It is contagious from two days before the rash appears. It can also be contracted from the lesions of a person with shingles.

Generally Patients do not present obvious symptoms before the outbreak of the disease occurs, which is accompanied by fever, fatigue, headache and lack of appetite..Symptoms begin between 10 and 21 days after infectionThe most characteristic is the appearance of reddish, flat spots, which gradually take shape until they become blisters or vesicles. These cause a severe itchingThey break easily and form scabs that fall off and disappear in about two weeks. This process continues until the sixth day of the illness.

The spots appear all over the body, especially on the trunk and scalp. in successive outbreaks. Healthy children can develop up to 500 skin lesions, which sometimes leave a permanent mark. In severe cases, the spots spread to the extremities and face. In addition, sores may appear in the mouth, eyelids, rectum, vagina, and respiratory tract.

It is very common for doctors to prescribe cream with skin diseases. corticosteroids which, unfortunately, contain a endless list of side effects and undesirable for the body. SIf the rash has been aggressive and they have scratched frequently, chickenpox can leave its trace of identity forever in the form of marks on the skin which is difficult to remove.

Now I will pass one recipe that has worked very well for me and my friends with their children making very few pimples appear, making them dry very quickly, not having high fevers, minimal discomfort and finally going back to school!
