Hello, today I want to talk about Chickenpox, also known as Herpes Zoster.<\/p>\n

What I love about being able to use aromatherapy with our children or loved ones is the CONTACT! In this moment, I am providing affection, love, trust, respect, and, most of all, creating and strengthening a bond with them that they will carry with them throughout their lives.<\/p>\n

Chickenpox is caused by a virus that is related to the herpes simplex virus, which typically burrows into the nerves beneath the skin and can cause lifelong, repeated infections.<\/p>\n

When Herpes Zoster infections occur in children it is known as CHICKEN POX.<\/p>\n

When the infection occurs or recurs in adults, it is known as herpes, and is activated when the immune system is aggravated by emotional stress.<\/p>\n

Although chickenpox is a benign disease, complications sometimes occur in adolescents and adults with weakened immune systems (immunocompromised).
